A few weeks ago, I signed up to get immediate updates from the USCIS (United States Citizen & Immigration Services) whenever anything happened on my Green Card. Tonight, I got my first email from them telling me that my work permit application was accepted and that they were making my card and I should expect it in the mail in the next 30 days. Yeah!!!! I can finally get a job, the long waiting of nothing-ness is over!
Hurray, hurray for the work permit!!! Can wait to hear about the jobs your looking at. My parents said they a such a fun time with you guys! Wish we could have been there too!
